Recess Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality wellness care and creating pathways into the wellness workforce for Black and Brown communities.

We believe healing is not a luxury—it is essential.

Closing the Access Gap

Systemic barriers have historically limited access to wellness education, mentorship, and therapeutic care in underserved communities.

Through this initiative, we are actively addressing that gap by:

Providing sponsored healing sessions
Offering community-based workshops and experiences
Creating training, mentorship pathways for emerging practitioners and leadership development
Summer youth programs/camps
STEAM exposure (technology + innovation for youth)

Tax-Deductible Wellness Sponsorship

$169 | Sponsor a Session: Provides one full session of massage, yoga, or somatic care to support nervous system restoration.
$500 | Community Healing Access: Funds a full day of accessible care and practitioner support for our community.
$1,500 | Workforce Sustainability: Supports the development and retention of wellness practitioners through stipends and continuing education.
$3,500 | Leadership Pathway: Sponsors a YTT participant, creating pathways into wellness careers, economic mobility, and community leadership.
$7,500 | Large-Scale Care: Powers initiatives like Melanin Mondays and multi-day healing experiences.
$10,000+ | Global Exposure & Legacy: Supports restorative retreats, leadership development, and youth programming—including STEAM exposure and innovation camps.
