Cancellation Policy
Brain and Body Recess Booking & Studio Policy Thank you for choosing Brain and Body Recess. We are a leadership-aligned wellness space committed to providing high-quality care, professionalism, and respect for both our clients and practitioners. The following policies ensure a smooth and supportive experience for all. Appointments & Arrival Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled session, especially for your first visit. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session in order to honor other scheduled appointments. Full session fees still apply. Cancellation & Rescheduling We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or appointment changes. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) may be charged 50% of the service fee. No-shows or same-day cancellations may be charged 100% of the reserved service. This policy protects our practitioners’ time and ensures availability for other clients. Payment & Card on File A valid card on file is required to secure all appointments. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. Brain and Body Recess reserves the right to charge the card on file for late cancellations, missed appointments, or completed services. Packages, Memberships & Gift Cards All packages, memberships, and gift cards are non-refundable and must be used within their stated timeframes unless otherwise approved. Gift cards are honored at the listed value. Community-Supported Services Community and sliding-scale offerings are limited and may require approval through our Recess Access or community initiative programs. These offerings are reserved for approved participants and may not be transferred without permission. Professional Boundaries & Conduct Brain and Body Recess maintains a respectful, safe, and professional healing environment. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if policies are not honored or if behavior is inappropriate or disruptive. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies and consent to receive services at Brain and Body Recess.
